Six years ago, Mathew Sweezey and I crashed a private luncheon hosted by The Economist.

The panel — representing the leading brands in their markets — was discussing purpose-driven business. We asked the questions no one was asking.

We asked the questions no one was ready to do anything about.

We went on to write some studies together — with The Economist. We lived our lives. We did our thing. Sweezey as a futurist and thought leader for Salesforce — author of a book for HBR. Me as an Org Designer and change maker — breaking down power hierarchies, studying with Brené Brown, shaping leadership at companies like Apple. Both of us building communities full of brilliant thinkers, diverse minds, and courageous humans along the way. Both of us watching companies struggle to navigate uncertainty and innovate quickly.

We're still asking the big questions, and now we're ready to do something about them. 

We want the world to be better than it is, and we know we can do that through business. 

Auxiliary is absolutely about sharing perspective, but more importantly, it's about illuminating the perspectives that aren't being heard. We're constantly collecting, researching, curating, analyzing, thinking, and writing. And we'd like to share that with you.
